Solar energy and transmission will be the hot topic at an Earth Day Celebration on Tuesday, April 22, at 6:30 in Room 301 at the Musser Public Library.  The event is hosted by the Muscatine County Energy District and the League of Women Voters of Muscatine County. The event will include speakers Katie Rock, BlueGreen Alliance and n Gage Huston, General Manager of Muscatine Power and Water.  Solar awards will recognize  a county resident, a business, and an industry with solar installations.
