DESCRIPTION:The Midwest ASHP Collaborative\, in partnership with the Clean Energy Districts of Iowa (CEDI) and support of the Allamakee Energy District\, is hosting a free training event for local HVAC contractors to learn about Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) from technical experts\, manufacturers\, and distributors. \nMany topics will be explored\, including heat pump sizing and selection\, load calculations\, available and upcoming rebates and incentives\, and others. Ideal attendees include: installers and service technicians\, as well as local business managers\nand owners. \nBreakfast and lunch will be provided. \nLOCATION: Northeast Iowa Community College Waukon Center\n1220 3rd Avenue Northwest\nWaukon\, IA 52172\nAmple parking is available. \nDoors open at 7:30am\, with programming beginning at 8:00am and the event concluding with a provided lunch at noon.
