FREE technical assistance is now available to Muscatine County farmers and small business when applying for USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) funding for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
The Clean Energy Districts of Iowa (CEDI) is a nonprofit consortium of Energy Districts based in 13 counties across Iowa. In 2024-25, CEDI USDA REAP Coaching is available for free to farms and rural small businesses outside of metropolitan areas in 13 counties, including Muscatine County. CEDI provides priority assistance to customers and communities traditionally underserved by the REAP program, as well as certain types of projects. These include customers in disadvantaged communities and distressed communities, and those with smaller projects and pursuing underutilized technologies. We will make every effort to serve all interested customers.
